A vintage, historic souvenir, reversible tour jacket from Japan post World War 2.
This jacket measures chest 50 inches, sleeve, which is center back of neck to bottom edge of sleeve cuff is 37 inches and length, shoulder to edge of bottom band is 29 inches.
This jacket should fit with plenty of extra room so I guess it as a size X large for between a suit size 42 and 46, maybe 48.
One side is full of embroidery and the other side has none.
The jacket front features two tigers, the sleeves each have dragons in clouds and the back has a tiger, his claw and some bamboo and reads "Japan."
This historic millitary collectible from the Pacific theater is a Satin baseball cut jacket or coat.
This soft satin jacket in blue and olive green has raglan sleeves, pockets on both sides, and a wool striped collar and cuffs in olive green and blue. There is a repair on the collar, but it is well done.
As you can see in the photos, the front of the embroidered size has some wear on the fabric around the pockets and the lower edge.
The reverse side has no wear marks at all.
This"best generation" item is in excellent condition.
