This auction is for a really unusual large cowboy and horse statue or figurine that reminds me of a scene from the movie Cat Balou. The horse looks to be on his last legs and a bit tipsy to boot, lol! The rider is not in much better shape but at least he is not walking. The whole piece is very rustic looking and the markings are Universal Statuary Corp. 1977 and also the number 523, see pic. This piece is made of some type of very hard resin or plastic I am not sure which. It measures about 18" high and 18" long. The bottom has felt furniture protectors but they will probably need to be replaced. Other than needing a more thorough cleaning I do not see any damage at all. The rider has on a badge so I am guessing he is a sheriff or some other type of lawman. Just a really unsual looking piece that is sure to attract attention where ever it is displayed.
