You are bidding on a RARE PRODUCT FROM COKE-A-COLA & BASEBALL: WILLIE STARGELL - ALL-STAR BOTTLECAP.
This BOTTLECAP is a VERY RARE and EXTREMELY UNIQUE item put out by COKE-A-COLA. I have done some research on the bottlecap and believe it is from the late 1960's to the early 1970's...however there is no date on the cap itself. On the top of the bottlecap it has the COKE logo with a baseball above it and the words CARAMEL COLORED below it. On the other side of the cap is a picture of PITTSBURGH PIRATE great WILLIE STARGELL - All Star. A number 11 (I believe is the bottlecap number in the series) on the side of him.
THIS IS A FANTASTIC ITEM FOR THE ESTABLISHED "VETERAN" COLLECTOR OR ONE THAT IS A "ROOKIE" JUST STARTING OUT.
The cap is in Good Condition for it's age. The COKE-A-COLA logo side is in rough shape though. It looks to be rusted and very scratched up. You can barely see the wording at all. However, on the other side, the picture of WILLIE STARGELL is WONDERFUL.   The cap has a dent on the middle right (where the bottle opener was) as well. It is a EXCELLENT PORTRAIT of WILLIE STARGELL wearing his PIRATE's Hat.

This BOTTLE CAP is a MUST for any WILLIE STARGELL Fan and/or just a collector of vintage BASEBALL MEMORABILIA in general.
